I was rated about 200 points higher on chess .com than my official Australian ACF rating (which is roughly equivalent to a FIDE rating).

Matching ratings from different websites or OTB chess is inherently impossible because it involves different pools of people (or computers). First ban is 10 minutes, next one will be longer, and then much longer, etc. Just don't abort games if possible, try to hit that 100% game completion rate.
