WebBJCC, which opened in 1995, is named for Charles E. “Bill” Johnson. Johnson at the time was a state leader in establishing a facility that specialized in rehabilitating drug offenders. Johnson helped create a 300-bed Drug Offender Work Camp called the Regimented Treatment Program (RTP), which still operates at BJCC today. WebJan 1, 2024 · The BJC Center for LifeLong Learning ranked #1 in health care and #6 overall among 32 winners in the American Society for Training & Development’s 2011 BEST awards. The Institute for Health and Productivity Management presented BJC with the Value-Based Health Award for providing significant health opportunities for employees.
